Penderyn Legend 70cl / 41% Welsh Single Malt Whisky Distillery Bottling Penderyn Legend is matured in specially reserved ex-bourbon casks made from American Oak, before receiving a further maturation in oak barriques that have previously held Madeira wine Penderyn is the only whisky distillery in Wales and is very much a Whisky House on the move. In recent years, it has expanded its distilling capacity with two pot stills and built new warehouses for storage. Year by year, they have increased the age of the house blends to produce a super elegant, fruity and harmonious whisky. In 2012, the house's Single Cask was voted "European Single Cask of the Year" by Jim Murray and in 2013, the house's Port Finish was voted "European Whisky of the year". Among several awards, Penderyn Whisky won gold for best Cask Finish for their excellent Madeira finish.
