Stauning KAOS June 2018 is a Danish Single Malt Whisky bottled at 46.8% from malted grain in the KAOS tradition. Distilled 2014-2015 and released in June 2018 after 3-4 years in cask. Fruity, creamy and balanced – this is KAOS at its most approachable. Non-chill filtered with natural colour.

KAOS is Stauning's answer to whisky complexity. Each batch is a new blend, and no two releases taste the same. The June 2018 edition is one of the fruitier ones, with a core of peach and apricot carrying the whisky all the way through.

Tasting notes

Nose

Brighter fruit notes – peach, mandarin and light blossom. Vanilla sweetness and a gentle oak note.

Palate

Creamy malt core with peach and honey. Light spice and vanilla. Round and welcoming.

Finish

Shorter and soft with fruit sweetness and light oak.
