Join us for an unforgettable whisky experience as we dive into The Macallan’s rich history, iconic flavor profiles, and rare releases. This tasting has been created exclusively for the Whisky Fair, offering participants a unique insight into what makes The Macallan one of the most sought-after single malt whiskies in the world.
As one of the most renowned whisky houses, The Macallan celebrated its 200th anniversary last year. Drawing on this deep heritage, we will explore some of our most iconic series.
A Taste Journey into the Heart of The Macallan
We begin with an in-depth look at our classic Sherry Oak series, where the rich, deep notes of dried fruit, spices, and chocolate reflect the influence of European sherry casks that have shaped the whisky for centuries.
Next, we move into the Double Cask series, where we explore the differences between American and European oak—two worlds of flavor that create a unique balance of sweetness, warmth, and spice.
Exclusive Limited Editions
To make this experience even more extraordinary, participants will have the chance to taste some of The Macallan’s more exclusive releases. We will present a discontinued limited edition that is rarely tasted anymore, as well as an exclusive whisky from our anniversary series TIME-SPACE—a true tribute to The Macallan’s unparalleled craftsmanship and heritage.
Guided by the Nordic Ambassador
The tasting will be led by Jonas Gram, The Macallan’s Nordic Ambassador, who will passionately and expertly guide participants through this exclusive journey of flavors. This is not just a tasting—it is a discovery of craftsmanship, history, and oak, all of which define The Macallan.

The session will be held in Danish and takes place in The Macallan Room, accessed via Hall 3 in Sydbank Arena. Only 30 tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Limited spots are available for each tasting. The tasting takes place on March 1, 2025, on the 2nd floor of Sydbank Arena (requires the purchase of an entrance ticket to the Whisky Fair). Minimum age of 18 is required for participation, and product availability is subject to change.
