Fary Lochan Virgin Cask Batch #01 50cl / 47.1% This whisky is a single cask special edition from Fary Lochan Distillery. We call it "Virgin Cask". The variant is a "Summer" without smoke. It is bottled at 47.1% vol. The whisky is matured in one new American cask no. 2013-08. The cask was filled on May 05, 2013 and bottled on August 07, 2019. That is 6 years and 3 months. Color: Golden brown. Nose: Vanilla, freshly cut grass, fresh green apples, bourbon and a faint hint of mint. Taste: Complex, oily and spicy with notes of coffee, orange peel, freshly ground white pepper, burnt wood, green apples. Finish: Long with more notes of freshly cut grass and tart apples. This is a really lovely whisky that we hope you will enjoy. Only 388 bottles have been bottled.
