Bunnahabhain Aonadh 2011/2021 Limited Release 10 years old Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky 56,2%

This cask strength limited release whisky from Bunnahabhain has been aged for 10 years and is composed of sherry and port wine casks. It comes from Warehouse No. 9, where the previous limited releases have also been aged. It is close to the sea and therefore gives a very distinct salty note to the whisky. It is 56.2% ABV and has flavor notes of sweet red and dark berries. Cinnamon and warm spices, roasted nuts and a prominent note of oak. It's named Aonadh, which means union in Scottish Gaelic. This of course refers to the combination of the two types of casks.
