Alberto Santos Dumont was a great aviation pioneer and the first to fly a heavy aircraft in Europe. The story of this rum, however, takes its starting point in Dumont’s childhood. He was born in Brazil as the son of a wealthy coffee and sugar producer. On the vast plantation they produced both rum and Brazil’s national spirit, Cachaça. In his adult life, however, he focused more on aviation and moved the entire family to France. His passion for adventure and flight came from reading Jules Verne’s novels.

Santos Dumont XO has matured in three types of casks, which contribute to its flavor, character, and smoothness. It has been aged in ex-bourbon, PX sherry, and port wine casks.

SBS 2021/2023 Giftbox 1423 Single Barrel Selection Jamaica Rum 4x20 cl

This giftbox is the grand finale in the Fall release of S.B.S 2023. 1423 has bottled four barrels of WPE from Worthy Park Estate in Jamaica and bottled the rum in 0,2L bottles.
