Riedel Veritas Champagne Tasting Set is a tasting set of three different machine-blown champagne glasses from the Austrian glassmaking house Riedel, made from crystal glass and put together to show how much bowl shape and size matter to the experience of Champagne. The set belongs to Veritas, Riedel's newest and thinnest machine-blown collection.
The set consists of one champagne glass (235 mm tall, 445 ml), one champagne rosé glass (235 mm tall, 800 ml) and a second, smaller champagne glass (226 mm tall, 160 ml) - three different sizes, each suited to a particular style of Champagne.
Design & Material
The rosé glass in the set has by far the largest bowl, because rosé Champagne is typically more fruit-driven and needs more room for the aromas. The smallest glass is shaped for a more direct, crisp style, while the third glass sits in between. All three are blown from the thin crystal that defines Veritas.
