This whiskey is a so-called "Small Batch Bourbon", and the distillery has been using the technique since before it even got its name. Elijah Craig has won a host of awards, including two gold medals at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Whisky Magazine's Best of the Best Premium Bourbon and Jim Murray's Whisky Bibles Best Bourbon Color: Deep copper color Aroma: Honey, caramel, cocoa, almonds and apricot are just a few of the goodies found on the nose. Vanilla, Swiss Mint, warm wheat bread and freshly sawn oak round off a wonderfully delightful nosing experience. Taste: A full-bodied spicy and pleasantly oily texture fills the mouth.
