Ron Colon Salvadoreno is a tasty banana rum from El Salvador, from a new distillery created by two good friends from California, Thurman Wise and Pepijn Janssens. The content is beautifully amber-golden with good viscosity and the nose is immediately hit by a captivating and sweet tropical aroma with fresh sugar cane and banana in the foreground. The flavor is super-rich on banana and caramel, giving you a hint of coffee and sweet berries as well as a little funk from the traditional pot-still in the background. The finish is pleasantly long, sweet and distinct.
