Trolden Distillery Whiskymesse Malt 2022 is bottled for our 25th fair, a Private Cask exclusive to Whisky.dk - this Single Malt Whisky is bottled at 59% and has been aged in a 30 liter Virgin Oak cask. Full-bodied round vanilla notes, not to mention a slight sweetness on the nose, some caramel and ripe bananas. The 59% alc gives a flavor explosion, as well as a good spicy aftertaste with lots of oak and leather.

Palate: Rhubarb is immediately noticeable, followed by a fruity dryness, rich tannins, and a very pleasant acidity. There are hints of green wines and mulled wine. If you’re a fan of red wine finishes, this one is for you! Finish: The finish offers a gentle warmth with slowly returning rhubarb, surprising sharpness, and almost a hint of black licorice. It’s soft and tingling.

Tullibardine The 15 year whisky was created in 2003 when the distillery was reopened. The whisky is bottled 15 years later and has been aged in first fill bourbon casks from start to finish. This results in a whole range of amazing flavors and aromas. In the nose, you'll find fresh dried hay, fruits, baked apples and, of course, vanilla. After 12 months of extra maturation in these casks, this creates an elegant, golden whisky with interesting citrus notes, hints of grain and a good portion of vanilla. After a long maturation period in ex-Bourbon casks, Tullibardine 500 Sherry Finish is transferred to 500 liter ex-Sherry Butts for a further maturation of 12 months.
