Tullamore Dew Honey Irish Whiskey Liqueur combines Irish whiskey with honey for a sweet, golden liqueur, bottled at 35%. The Tullamore distillery was founded in 1829 by Michael Molloy. After his death, his nephew Bernard Daly took over management and hired a 15-year-old stable boy named Daniel Edmund Williams as general manager. Williams eventually came to own the distillery and helped modernise the entire town of Tullamore — introducing electricity in 1893, the town's first telephone line, and its first motorised vehicle. After his death, his initials, D.E.W., became a permanent part of the brand name.
