Kininvie 23 Years Old Batch 002 is a Single Speyside Malt Scotch Whisky matured in ex-bourbon casks and bottled at 42.6%. The whisky is matured for 23 years in ex-bourbon casks and represents a markedly older and rarer release than the debut Batch 001. Kininvie still uses the vast majority of its spirit for William Grant & Sons blends, so every stand-alone single malt release is the exception rather than the rule.

Tasting notes

Nose

Honey, ripe pears and a light nutty aroma of almond and vanilla.

Palate

Round and sweet with tropical fruit, caramel and a soft spice.

Finish

Long, soft and lastingly sweet.
