Henrich Gilors is a German Single Malt Whisky, bottled at 42.8%. Brennerei Henrich near Frankfurt has distilled fine spirits since 1983, originally fruit brandies and liqueurs from the family's orchard. With a new distillery built in 2006, the family began experimenting with single malt whisky, and the Gilors label launched in 2012. The name Gilors freely translates to 'golden water' in Gaelic. The whisky is distilled from malted barley sourced from both Bamberg and Scotland, which the distillery mills itself, and matured in small casks in small batches.
