Octomore 14.3 follows in the footsteps of the previous editions, which can be said to be the frame of reference for the others. The spirit is fruity and floral. The Scottish malt, which is 100% grown on Islay is also of the concerto type, ensures a solid base of malted grain. 5 years of maturation in a mix of first fill ex-American whiskey and second fill ex-French oak casks, with delicate notes of bourbon sweetness and spice from the French oak barrel, ensures balance without overpowering the characteristic Octomore style of malted grain and strong smoke.
