Stauning barrels, maple and a dark, intense character. Black Wedding 2026 is the youngest release of the Wedding series' darkest member.

Expert description of Fanø Bryghus Black Wedding 2026

Black Wedding 2026 is a dark and intense imperial stout from Fanø Bryghus, delivering a deeply complex, flavour-rich experience. At a powerful 13.5% ABV, this is a beer made for those who appreciate deep, roasted malt notes combined with a silky mouthfeel and a long, warming finish. Black Wedding is part of the classic Wedding series and has been aged on Stauning Whisky barrels for up to 18 months.

The stout offers notes of roasted coffee, dark chocolate and maple syrup, while the taste unfolds with nuances of caramelised sugar, vanilla and dried fruit, with a light hint of toasted oak as well as caramel and vanilla from the whisky barrels.

Fanø Bryghus is located on the West Jutland island of Fanø, where the North Sea and the island's raw nature are a clear part of the brewery's identity. The brewery makes everything from classic, golden lagers to barrel-aged specialties, and has won several awards for its craft.
