Now, it's not officially allowed to be called a single malt or a Laphroaig, but the taste is the same... Tasting notes: The aroma has nuances of sweet heavy smoke, iodine, medicine and honey. The taste also has elements of sweet smoke, medicine, iodine, citrus, caramel and honey. Cask Islay is bottled at 46% and is not chill-filtered, which best preserves the flavours and aromas.
