Some beers whisper. The Great Reset shouts - tropical fruit, resin and a hop bitterness that doesn't ask permission.
Expert description of Stepping Stone The Great Reset Double IPA
The Great Reset - 2026 Edition is a rich, hop-driven Danish Double IPA at 8% from Stepping Stone Brewing Company. The beer offers an intense aroma of tropical fruit, citrus and resin, followed by a deep malt base that counters the pronounced hop bitterness. The taste is juicy and full, with notes of mango, pineapple, grapefruit and lightly caramelised malt, while the 8% ABV brings warmth without dominating.
Stepping Stone is a young brewery from Hørning near Aarhus, founded by Daniel True, Runee Stusgaard and Simon Grøndahl Lyngholm Jakobsen and named Danish Brewery of the Year 2024. Behind the experimental recipes lies a social project that gives refugees and people on the margins of the job market a place in production.
