Ron Colon Salvadoreno Rumzcal is a tasty experiment from El Salvador, from a new distillery created by two good friends from California, Thurman Wise and Pepijn Janssens. Mix of mezcal and rum, split 33% mezcal and 66% rum.

The color is slightly clear golden with a medium structure. The aroma immediately gives you a sense of where we're headed, rich with tropical earth and smoke from the baked agave without ever overpowering the fruity sweetness at the back of the nose. On the palate, it continues with a fine balance of charcoal and a little smoke, rounded out beautifully with the natural and innate nuances of rum. The finish is long, warm and pleasant with a good tropical feel.
