The name doesn't oversell it - Motor Oil pours out of the can with the same viscosity as actual motor oil, and that's entirely the point.

Expert description of Moersleutel Motor Oil Imperial Stout

Moersleutel Motor Oil Imperial Stout is a massive, jet-black and uncompromising imperial stout at 12% from the Dutch brewery Moersleutel Craft Brewery in Alkmaar, brewed to be just as thick and heavy as the name promises. It pours out of the can with the same viscosity as motor oil and settles in the glass with a dense, dark head.

The aroma is dominated by deeply roasted malt, followed by dark chocolate, coffee and a hint of vanilla. The flavour is intense and full: first powerful roasted notes, then bitter cocoa, espresso and a soft, rounding sweetness. The heavy body and oily mouthfeel make it one of Moersleutel's most iconic beers - a true Russian Imperial Stout in a modern Dutch interpretation.

Motor Oil is part of the brewery's permanent range and is considered their flagship stout: dark, deep, robust and built for those who love a stout with maximum power and character.
