Nine years before it became a permanent part of the range, the Valsangiacomo family decided to let their vermouth rest in old American oak casks.
Vittore Reserva is the result of that patience - five years of ageing, gathered in a single glass.

    Expert's Description

Vittore Reserva is a Spanish vermouth with an ABV of 15%, based on white wine made from the Macabeo grape from the Valencia region and aged for 5 years in oak casks.

The vermouth is produced by Cherubino Valsangiacomo, which has been making vermouth since 1904. The Reserva is infused with 24 Mediterranean and Alpine botanicals, including gentian, wormwood, coriander, sage, oregano and chamomile, before ageing for 5 years in American oak casks. The bottle is named after the family itself as a tribute to 185 years of history as winemakers.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

The nose is floral and balsamic, softened by vanilla notes from the oak ageing.

    Palate

The palate is intense and full-bodied with light bitter notes carried by the 24 botanicals.
