Kilchoman 2007/2010 Single Cask FC Whisky Denmark 2 is an Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky, 3 years old from a single bourbon cask and bottled at cask strength, 60.5 %.

The whisky was distilled on 20 June 2007 and bottled on 17 September 2010 from bourbon cask number 156/07. It is the second release in the former FC Whisky Denmark series, where Kilchoman selected individual casks specifically for the Danish market in its earliest years.

Although the cask was filled around the same time as FC Whisky Denmark 1, the two whiskies show just how differently two casks from the same period can develop — a reminder of why single cask releases can never be repeated.

Tasting notes

Nose

Sharp, young peat smoke meets citrus peel and a hint of honey, with a light mineral undercurrent.

Palate

Intense and spiced at cask strength, with peppery smoke, sweet malt and a distinctly oily texture.

Finish

Long and dry, with lingering smoke and a final trace of salted caramel.
