Jura 19 Years The Paps is a mature and characterful single malt from the Isle of Jura, inspired by the iconic mountains “The Paps” that rise between Jura and Islay. The whisky has been aged for 19 years in selected casks, creating a deep and complex flavour profile with clear maritime notes from the island’s rugged nature. It is first matured in ex‑bourbon casks and finished in used Pedro Ximénez sherry casks.

On the nose, you’ll find ripe pears, dried fruit, vanilla, honey and a hint of sea breeze. The palate is rich and rounded with notes of caramel, citrus, spiced oak, roasted nuts and a subtle touch of incense in the background. The finish is long, warm and elegant, combining sweetness, spice and a mineral saltiness that is typical of Jura.
