Edradour 2012/2022 Signatory Vintage 10 years old Sherry Butt is a Single Highland Malt Scotch Whisky matured in a single sherry cask and bottled at 58.9%.
The whisky was distilled on 22 June 2012 and matured for 10 years in a single sherry butt, cask #304, before being bottled by Signatory Vintage on 28 September 2022. As a single cask bottling, the whisky shows the sherry cask's full, undiluted influence, with a rich and concentrated flavour profile. Only 651 bottles were drawn from this one cask.
Tasting notes
Nose
Raisin and dark chocolate, with a full, nutty sweetness and a hint of old oak.
Palate
Rich and spicy with dried fig, caramelised sugar and a warm peppery edge from the high strength.
Finish
Long with lingering dark fruit and a dry, elegant finish.
