No barrels, no waiting. Clément Blanc Agricole goes from cane field to bottle in under a day, preserving a raw, green freshness that few rum styles can match.
Expert Description
Clément Rhum Blanc Agricole is a Martinique Rhum Agricole Blanc distilled from fresh cane juice and bottled at 40%.
The rum is produced at the Habitation Clément distillery in Le François, Martinique, one of the island's oldest and most respected distilleries, founded in 1887 by Homère Clément. The cane is harvested and pressed the same day, after which the juice is fermented and column-distilled within hours, a method at the heart of the AOC Martinique classification. The rum rests briefly in steel tanks after distillation, with no cask ageing, so the green, herbal character of the cane is preserved intact.
This unaged style is the backbone of the classic Ti' Punch and is used across Martinique as an everyday drink.

Did You Know?
Habitation Clément is one of only two places in the world where rum is protected by an AOC classification (Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée), on par with champagne and cognac, precisely because the rhum agricole method with fresh cane juice is so terroir-bound.
