Frequently asked questions about Glenlossie 2013/2024 Lady of the Glen Oloroso

    What makes this Glenlossie special?

The intense Oloroso finish gives dried fruit, nuts and dark chocolate to a distillery that's normally far quieter – only 261 bottles exist.

    Is this whisky smoky?

No, Glenlossie is unpeated. The Oloroso cask gives chocolate and nutty tones, not smoke.

    Should I add water?

At 58.4%, a few drops of water can soften the strength and further draw out the rich chocolate and nutty notes.

What is Lady of the Glen?

It's a Scottish independent bottler, created by Hannah Whisky Merchants, bottling exclusively single cask whisky at cask strength.

    Is this whisky worth it?

With only 261 bottles and an intense Oloroso finish, this is a rare opportunity for collectors and sherry lovers.

    What glass suits it best?

A nosing glass best gathers the chocolate and nutty aromas and makes it easier to follow the long, rounded finish.
