Calle 23 Reposado Tequila is a Mexican Reposado Tequila made from 100% agave, bottled at 40%.

Calle 23 was created by French chemical engineer Sophie Decobecq, who moved to Mexico in 1999 and began developing her own tequila brand in 2003. The agave is harvested in Los Altos de Jalisco, the highlands between the towns of Tepatitlán and Arandas, and double-distilled before the Reposado rests for eight months in used American bourbon barrels. The relatively short ageing period is a deliberate choice, giving the tequila a touch of wood and spice without losing the fresh agave character the brand is known for.

Tasting Notes

Sweet, cooked agave with butterscotch and warm fruit, plus a touch of orange and cinnamon.

Balanced between agave and oak, with notes of creamy vanilla, apple cider and citrus blossom.
