Alexandre Bonnet Les Riceys Blanc de Noir Champagne is made from the Pinot Noir grape alone - a grape that carries particular historical weight in Les Riceys.

    Expert's Description

Alexandre Bonnet Les Riceys Blanc de Noir is a Champagne from Les Riceys, Aube, France, made from 100% Pinot Noir with an alcohol content of 12.5%. Domaine Alexandre Bonnet, which took its name in 1970 and today farms 47 hectares in Les Riceys, presses the dark grapes gently to extract only the pale juice, producing a white Champagne with a deeper, more powerful character than a typical Blanc de Blancs. Les Riceys is the only commune in Champagne with three AOCs, and Pinot Noir is the very cornerstone of the house's style.
