Alexandre Bonnet Les Riceys Blanc de Blanc Champagne is a fine representative of what the house can achieve - a house that since 1970 has put its name on some of the most distinctive Champagnes from the southern part of the region.

    Expert's Description

Alexandre Bonnet Les Riceys Blanc de Blancs is a Champagne from Les Riceys, Aube, France, made from a blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Blanc with an alcohol content of 12.5%. Domaine Alexandre Bonnet took its name in 1970, when brothers Serge and Alain Bonnet took over the family vineyards following their grandfather Lucien Noble's first plantings in 1934, and the house today farms 47 hectares - the largest holding in Les Riceys. Les Riceys is the only commune in all of Champagne with three AOCs, Champagne, Coteaux Champenois and Rosé des Riceys, and the area has historically belonged as much to Burgundy as to Champagne.
