    Mackmyra Svensk Rök/Amerikansk Ek is a Swedish Single Malt Whisky matured in Swedish and American oak, bottled at 46.1%.

    The whisky is the second release in Mackmyra's Svensk Rök series and is made from local ingredients with no additives. The combination of maturation in both Swedish and American oak gives a distinctive, layered character that shows two sides of Mackmyra's style in a single bottle. The colour is amber-gold.

    Tasting Notes

    Nose

    Primarily defined by smoke, but with layers of spice, fruit, caramel, ginger, herbs, vanilla, toasted oak, salt, minerals and tobacco leaf.

    Palate

    Plenty of peat and salt, redder than on the nose, balanced with spiced oak, vanilla, toasted tones, caramel, pear and candied figs.

    Finish

    Long and smoky with a final, salty mineral tone.
