Tres Hombres RumThe long-term goal of Tres Home's owners is to transport only organic, biological and sustainable products by sustainable methods. In 2007, three friends fell over a wreck of an old German fishing ship that was used as a minesweeper during World War II. They rebuilt the old wooden ship into the beautiful sailing ship it is today.Today the ship, Tres Hombres, sails on the seven seas with cargo, and most importantly, without an engine! During trips across the oceans, the long-term vision of sustainable trade and environmental improvement is still maintained. This has resulted in the shipment of various fair trade and organic goods, such as rum, chocolate and coffee, thereby lowering the overall carbon dioxide emissions of these products. This is Fairtransport! In 2010, they began bringing back rum from the Dominican Republic, which they have blended in collaboration with recognized master blenders. |
