Crystal Head Vodka
70cl / 40%
The finest vodka is untouched. Naturally Smooth. That’s what we believe. So that’s how we make our vodka. Only the purest elements from superior natural sources are used when crafting Crystal Head.
Pristine water from Newfoundland is blended with high quality peaches n’ cream corn and distilled the perfect amount to preserve the natural flavour. The vodka is filtered multiple times and as a final stage passes three times through Herkimer diamonds, spiritually charged semi-precious quartz crystals.
Crystal Head contains no additives. No glycerol. No citrus oils. No sugars. Nothing is added to enhance or mask the taste. Nothing but Pure Spirit.
Crystal Head Vodka is filtered seven times. In its final stages, the liquid is filtered three times through 500-million year-old crystals known as Herkimer diamonds. These quartz crystals are found in very few places in the world, including Herkimer, New York and regions in Tibet and Afghanistan. They are the most valuable and clearest of all quartz and are highly sought for their Metaphysical properties. Perhaps because the Herkimer diamonds share the raw material from which the legendary crystal heads were carved, they are thought to have similar spiritual qualities
Thirteen crystal heads have been found in various regions around the world from the American southwest to Tibet. The heads are thought to offer spiritual power and enlightenment to those who possess them, and as such, stand not as symbols of death, but of life. They are dated between 5,000 and 35,000 years old and were supposedly polished into shape from solid quartz chunks over a period of several hundred years. One would assume tool marks to be evident during this process, however, according to HP engineers they bear no tool marks to tell us exactly how they were created. The legend remains a controversial archaeological mystery to date
Dan Aykroyd and John Alexander designed the Crystal Head bottle with a pure spirit in mind. Inspired by the legend of the thirteen crystal skulls, Aykroyd and Alexander sought to craft a bottle worthy of one of the world’s purest vodkas.
Alexander drafted, Aykroyd consulted, and together they envisioned the Head. Not a skull, but a head. A symbol of life to reflect the legend’s message of spiritual power and enlightenment. An exquisite vessel to house a white spirit of super natural purity.
Alexander presented his sketches, and Milan-based manufacturer Bruni Glass went to work. When their prototype was complete, they declared the bottle to be of unsurpassed complexity. The design process took more than two years, but the Head came to warrant its contents: zero-additive, ultra-premium vodka crafted from high quality, Canadian ingredients.
