The first in the series is “PX & Oloroso,” and as we speak, it is on its way to those of you who have pre-ordered. It will be released online on Thursday, October 31 at 8:00 PM. This bottling is primarily a “retailer bottle,” which means we have kept only a very small amount ourselves. So, if you as a customer want to secure a bottle, you will need to visit your nearest retailer.

A sweet and smooth single malt aged in PX and Oloroso sherry casks for 4-5 years. It has a rich mouthfeel, with notes of dried fruits and earthy hints from old sherry casks, a touch of herbs, and a subtle, warm smoky note from gentle peat.

This is the first PX Limited Edition 2024 whisky drawn from specially selected old and intense PX sherry casks from our warehouse, bottled at cask strength. This whisky is intense, deep, and sweet, with flavor notes of raisins and dried fruits, combined with earthy, oxidized nuances from the old casks and a hint of peaty smoke. It is a vatting of four 1st fill casks, offering layers of complexity and a delightful, oily mouthfeel and warmth, with a slight touch of warming peaty smoke. Only a limited number, namely 636 bottles, of this Thy Whisky PX Cask Strength have been produced.

Ultimate Splendour Adventurous Spirit Nyborg Distilery Organic Single Malt Danish Whisky 51% Ultimate Splendour Whisky - part three of the trilogy. Nyborg destilleri has chosen to call part three of their Iberian Beauty series Ultimate Splendour - they are quite fond of this whisky, and they hope you will be too.

Ultimate Splendour offers richness, sweetness and complexity, as well as a developed fruitiness. From 2019 to 2021, every December 1/3 is bottled from the same cask. In September 2019, we filled a 500L Oloroso sherry cask that was completely empty of the sherry that had been on it for 40 years. Before that, the whisky had been stored in two STR vinfade from Portugal. Vindblæst Whisky Søgaard Destilleri Limited Edition Danish Whisky 4x20 cl 46.1%

From Livø, Læsø, Fur and Egholm, a portion of seed from the same organic production was delivered in the spring of 2018 to each of the four farmers on the four islands. A very special malt barley "Odyssey", which is suitable for whiskey production. The goal was to create the best possible malting barley for production. After the harvest in late summer 2018, the barley from each of the four islands was malted separately, so that production was ready to start in spring 2019 at Søgaard's Distillery in Aalborg.

The first whiskey was placed in oak casks, imported from the renowned whiskey brand Jack Daniel's, and then it was just a matter of waiting patiently for three years while the aging took place. The storage is also a chapter in itself. The finished raw spirit was sailed out to Livø, where it was stored at Livø Avlsgård with the married couple Bente and Karsten Kjærgaard. The oak casks were placed in the farm's old barn, with the right temperature and light, as well as daily monitoring, so the final products have therefore been given the best conditions throughout their lifetime. Denmark has therefore received, not just one, but four organic island whiskeys, each with their own recognizable distinctive character and all of very high quality

A fine vanilla note emerges and gives a soft aftertaste, which, despite the high intensity of the alcohol, gives a quite exquisite dram in fine balance.
