Nyborg Distillery Whiskymessen 2018 (62.6%) is an organic Danish Single Malt Whisky bottled at 62.6% cask strength for the Danish Whisky Fair in 2018. Like the corresponding 64.6% bottling, it was produced during the distillery's Ørbæk era and represents a separate cask with its own flavour character. The two Whiskymessen 2018 bottlings complement each other and offer enthusiasts the opportunity to compare what two casks from the same period and base spirit can produce. Tasting notes

Nose

Fresh grain base with a clean organic character. Light sweetness and a delicate plum fruitiness. Discreet cask influence allowing the distillate to shine through.

Palate

Gentle and approachable at 62.6% with integrated warmth. Fresh apple fruit and light sweetness. A warm finish on the palate.

Finish

Clean and short to medium with fresh grain notes.
