Nyborg Distillery Whiskymessen 2018 (64.6%) is an organic Danish Single Malt Whisky bottled at 64.6% cask strength exclusively for the Danish Whisky Fair in 2018. Produced during the distillery's Ørbæk era, before the move to Nyborg and the launch of Isle of Fionia. These event bottlings are rarely available after the fair itself and represent a unique snapshot of the distillery's production at one specific moment. An uncut cask strength bottling with authenticity.

Tasting notes

Nose

Fresh and grain-rich nose with a clean organic base. Light sweetness from cask maturation, a hint of citrus and peach. Clear and direct.

Palate

Round and full-bodied at 64.6% – surprisingly approachable for the cask strength. Ripe grain notes, light sweetness and a warm spice on the palate. A drop of water is recommended.

Finish

Clean and medium with warm grain notes and a fresh close.
