Nyborg Distillery Sherry Finish is an organic Danish Single Malt Whisky bottled at cask strength 59% from the distillery's early production at Ørbæk Brewery. Today, Nyborg Distillery produces under the Isle of Fionia brand in the historic DSB train depot in Nyborg – but these Ørbæk bottlings represent roots and beginnings. The whisky has been matured and finished on sherry casks, which add sweetness and depth to the organic distillate. A bottling with historical value for the Nyborg Distillery collector universe.

Nose

Ripe sherry sweetness with dried fruit, vanilla and a gentle nutty character. The organic distillate provides a clean, fresh base beneath the cask richness.

Palate

Full-bodied at 59% with the sherry cask sweetness well integrated. Dried plums, caramel and warm spice. The heat from the strength is well-integrated.

Finish

Medium long with lingering sherry and a light oak tannin close.
