Tailored is a premium blended whisky from the renowned Japanese distillery Nikka. The name "Tailored", as the whisky is called, refers to the unique blend that is tailored from different components from the two distilleries Miyagikyo and Yoichi, both owned by Nikka distillery. The beautiful design of the bottle is also inspired by the Japanese national costume, the kimono, as a perfect introduction to the elegant Japanese style that the whisky offers. In 2012, Whisky.dk stopped by Ørbæk Brewery with two empty 30L casks and asked: "Isn't that something about you guys making whisky? Will you fill our barrels with 'new make'?" And they did. About 6 years later they returned: "Now we want our whisky bottled!" And they did.
This is a blend of the two casks and only 53 bottles were bottled. Bottled on the occasion of Whiskymessen March 3, 2018.
