Redbreast 15 year old Irish whiskey with an intense dark golden color with orange tinges. The aroma is full-bodied and very inviting. The influence of the Oloroso sherry casks is immediately apparent - dried fruits, sweet cherries, raisins and chocolate. Toffee, vanilla, pancakes and a hint of cardamom blend beautifully with the Spanish notes. The thick oily character of the whiskey permeates the aroma towards the end and testifies to an approachable big flavor experience. On the palate, you'll find vanilla, whipped meringue, milk chocolate and a little prickly oak plank. Towards the end, more fresh burnt oak, brown spices and a huge mouth-filling sweetness that gently settles on the palate. In the aftertaste, all the ingredients blend into a lovely cake that lingers for a long time...

Redbreast Lustau Edition Single Pot Still Irish Whiskey 70 cl 46% A unique collaboration between two partners who excel in their respective genres. Midleton Distillery in Ireland, with Redbreast Single Pot Still, and Bodega Lustau Sherry from Jerez in Spain. Redbreast Lustau is finally aged in casks that previously held the finest Oloroso sherry from Lustau. On the nose you find rich notes of dark fruit, such as prunes, dates and figs. In the background are licorice, marzipan, toasted oak and warm spices. The warm spices are especially present on the palate, with hints of cinnamon, nutmeg and roasted nuts. The finish is persistent and almost never-ending. Here, the sweetness from the sherry casks is particularly evident, and you automatically want another dram.
