Finishes slowly pick up with chocolate, dark sugar and sweet home baking. A good portion of salt and burning oak rounds out and numbs the mouth for quite some time.

Stauning Whisky was founded in 2005 by nine friends in West Jutland and is today recognized as Denmark’s leading distillery. This 10-year-old Peat Single Malt marks an important step in the distillery’s development: a mature, terroir-driven whisky with a clear smoky character, yet still carrying Stauning’s signature fruit and malt style.
