Sall Whisky presents a truly special Danish whisky, matured in rare Fondillón casks from Alicante, Spain. Fondillón, known as the Wine of Kings, is a wine produced only in very limited quantities. As a result, there are only a handful of these casks in existence – and Sall Whisky is among the very first distilleries in the world to mature whisky in this unique type of wine cask.

The result is a whisky with a character never before seen in Denmark. The deep wine profile from Fondillón merges with Danish malt to create an expression that is both powerful and refined. With an alcohol strength of 55.4% and a limited production of just 340 bottles, this release is aimed at collectors and enthusiasts who want to experience something entirely new in Danish whisky history.

GLØD 3.2 is the second release in the characterful GLØD series from Sall Whisky – a tribute to the cooper’s craft and the glow that emerges when the inside of the cask is charred, unlocking the whisky’s full potential. This is Danish single malt with warmth, depth, and colour – matured entirely or partially in fortified wine casks, which are the hallmark of the GLØD series.

This edition has been aged in a combination of ex-bourbon, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, giving the whisky a beautiful glow and a complex flavour profile. Expect deep notes of caramel, raisins, and prunes, balanced by a light touch of fresh citrus. A whisky with both richness and finesse – clearly inspired by classic sherry maturation.

GLØD 3.2 is made from Evergreen spring barley grown on the Kvolbæk field, malted as Pale and Vienna for a rounded and aromatic malt profile. Fermented with Distillamax MW and distilled in small batches before maturing for three years. Each bottle is 100% organic and fully traceable – from grain to glass.

Bottled at 52.2% ABV and released in 798 numbered bottles of 70 cl. GLØD is Danish terroir with warmth at its core and craftsmanship in its soul.

The whisky is made from Prospect and Evergreen spring barley grown on the fields of Kvolbæk and Stadsgård, malted as Pale and Vienna to create a balanced and full-bodied malt profile. It has matured for three years in ex-bourbon casks, where gentle aging has added light fruity notes, vanilla, and honeyed sweetness – without overshadowing what makes MULD special: the pure taste of Danish terroir.

Using the yeast strains Distillamax MW and Kveik Hornindal, the distillate gains an extra layer of complexity and aroma. Each bottle is 100% organic and fully traceable – from the distillation batch to the exact field where the barley was harvested.

This edition has matured in a combination of ex-bourbon, Oloroso, and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, creating a complex and balanced profile. Samhain Series – a limited release of six single-cask Scotch whiskies. The series celebrates Scotland’s rich folklore and eerie mythology, coinciding with the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain, the precursor to modern Halloween.

Each whisky in the Samhain Series tells a story through local legends, with atmospheric labels designed by Edinburgh-based artist and designer Steven Shand, who has over 13 years of experience in the Scottish whisky industry. Shand’s intricate artwork and storytelling complement the atmospheric whiskies and capture a haunting essence of Scotland’s past.

Each bottle is sourced from distilleries in the Speyside, Highland, and Lowland regions. As with all Lady of the Glen releases, the Samhain Series is hand-bottled, undiluted at natural cask strength, free of chill-filtration, and retains its natural color, preserving the purity of the whisky.

Lady of the Glen has wanted to collaborate with Steven since they saw his contemporary illustration of Tam O’Shanter at the Fife Whisky Festival. His use of color and detail was both a feast for the eyes and unsettling in a good way. They decided to celebrate Scotland’s Samhain festival by pairing richly illustrated Scottish stories with distilleries from the same regions. For the series, they selected some of their finest 40-liter octaves to highlight a wide range of rich flavors that would stand out just like the stories themselves.
