Jura Camas an Staca is a rare and majestic single malt from the Isle of Jura, released in 2012 as a tribute to the island’s mythical standing stones and the distillery’s deep heritage. This limited edition is signed by Richard Paterson on both the box and bottle, and it unites 30 years of maturation with Jura’s distinctive style.
The name “Camas an Staca” refers to the largest of Jura’s eight standing stones – a 12-foot-high megalith said to have been raised by giants. Jura chose this name for its vintage series as a homage to the island’s mystique and powerful natural presence. The whisky was matured for 27 years in American white oak casks and finished for 3 years in Amoroso sherry casks, resulting in a deep and complex profile with both elegance and intensity.
