Thy Whisky Fad No° 16 REXThy Whisky no 16 - REX is a special bottling on the occasion of Her Majesty Queen Margrethe II's visit to their farm and distillery in August 2021. For this special occasion, they have chosen a type of whisky that they have never bottled before. The distillate is redes 'Kara' distillate with a hint of peat smoke. The whisky has been aged for 4-4 1?2 years in ex-bourbon and PX sherry casks.

Aromas of burnt caramel, the deep sweetness of PX sherry and fresh vanilla from the bourbon barrels merge into a very round and complex sweetness. The peat adds a touch of 'green', acidic notes such as grass and citrus fruits. They have bottled the whisky at 49.5 % alc.vol. where the whisky is intense and aromatic but at the same time feels very soft on the tongue.
