Distilled in 1999 and bottled in 2024 after a full 24 years in selected casks, this Lowland single malt shows remarkable depth and finesse. As the only Scottish distillery that consistently triple distills, Auchentoshan delivers a silky smooth and elegant spirit that has developed into a complex and refined character over time.
On the nose, the whisky opens with delicate notes of honey, ripe stone fruits, and fresh citrus, beautifully balanced by vanilla and a subtle nuttiness from the cask maturation. The palate is full and harmonious with layers of caramelized malt, dried fruits, orange peel, and gentle spices. The high cask strength of 55.6% brings intensity while still preserving Auchentoshan’s signature softness. In 1992, the then United Distillers (now called Diageo and the world's largest spirits company) started the Flora & Fauna series, which at the time consisted of 26 different versions of Scotch Single Malt whisky to show the vast differences in Scotland's whisky regions. Bottled at 43% for most of the bottles, but a few were also bottled at Cask Strength, i.e. full cask strength, and some versions also came in wooden boxes.

Beautiful, citrusy flavor, aroma and body. Relatively dry and spicy with hints of licorice, tobacco, orange peel and white pepper. A little smoke is also mixed in, as well as salted caramel, nuts and pepper.
