Fettercairn 1996 from Signatory is a classic Highland bottling that showcases the distillery’s clean, fruity style in an elegant and mature expression. After 17 years in a single hogshead cask (cask #4339), the whisky has developed a beautiful balance of natural sweetness, gentle spice and deep malt character – all preserved in its most authentic form, being both un‑chillfiltered and natural colour.

On the nose, soft notes of ripe barley, citrus oil, vanilla and light tropical fruit appear, followed by a touch of fresh oak and honey. The palate is rounded and full, with classic Fettercairn tones: malt, light caramel, fresh fruit and a discreet spicy warmth from the cask. The finish is long, clean and lightly mineral with a dry elegance that reveals both the whisky’s age and the calm maturation of the hogshead.
