The Couvreur family imports sherry to their Domaine in Beaune, France. They bottle the sherry and fill the imported sherry Whisky in the fresh casks on the same day. This is called "Fresh Filling" and Couvreur is today the only one practicing this method. Fresh Filling is equivalent to turbocharging the barrel aging, and this is clearly evident in Couvreur's Whisky, where the style can be described as surprisingly full-bodied and rounded, with an incredibly broad flavor palette.
