Edradour 2012 Vintage Sauternes Cask is bottled after 12 years of maturation in used Sauternes casks, with a total of 2332 bottles from casks #184, 185, 186, 187, 188, 189, and 191. This whisky has had the opportunity to develop in the distinctive Sauternes casks, which previously held the famous sweet dessert wine from the Bordeaux region. This imparts a unique sweetness and complexity that is rare in many single malts.

It features a flavor profile that combines subtle notes of honey and vanilla with a fresh fruitiness reminiscent of nectarines and tropical fruits. The finish is lightly spiced and honeyed, offering a well-balanced and lingering aftertaste.

Edradour Julemalten 10 year Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky 48% This is the Danish version of "Julemalten" from Edradour - Sherry cask #301 - This 10 year old whisky was specially selected during FC Whisky's last visit to the distillery. After tasting the whisky at full cask strength, it was then watered down to 48%, which was absolutely perfect. A real Christmas dram that smells and tastes of sherry and Christmas spices.

FC Whisky has chosen to be bottled in the original Edradour bottle and a beautiful red box.Edradour was Scotland's smallest distillery and is located just outside Pitlochry in the Southern Highlands. Even before its official founding in the year of 1825, the distillery was running illicit stills in the pocket glen near Balnald, Pitlochry for a long time by local farmers. Replicas of the very old production equipment like the Morton refrigerator, the tiny stills, the wooden wash backs and the worm tubs are still in use today within the old farm buildings from more than 200 years old.

In its long history, the distillery has always been a survivor through both lean and prosperous times: from the original success story of blended Scotch whisky to the ownership by the New York Mafia, from large corporate ownership to a welcome return to independent Scottish hands - the distillery is still producing handmade farm single malts.

Egan's Conviction is a blend of Single Malt and Single Grain, aged for 10 years and finished in Cognac XO casks. The aging has contributed to floral notes, as well as hints of honey and dried apricots. The taste offers notes of almonds, chocolate, ginger and spicy fruit, among others. The aftertaste is nice and long with hints of licorice and ginger.
