The taste is delicious and spicy: at first we encounter the cognac style, but then more malt sweetness and clear references to the sherry cask follow, with plums, berries, nuts and dried figs and dates. It has a delicious creamy mouthfeel, with both richness and bite, leading into a long and spicy aftertaste.

Enghaven no 1 Young Rye The aroma hints at fruity sweetness and lots of fresh herbs. There are subtle notes of ripe banana, pineapple and orange. It's reminiscent of a good English wine gum. The taste is "dessert-like" with distinct notes of chocolate, brandy and strawberries, almost like filled chocolates. Gradually, the toasted notes blend into the flavor, which also becomes drier and fades into a spicy freshness like mint and tarragon.
