The Unique is bottled after roughly 3 years of cask maturation at natural strength via Michel Couvreur's fresh filling method, where young Scotch malt whiskies are refilled onto fresh sherry casks the same day the casks are emptied. This gives a silky character that feels more mature than the relatively few years in cask would otherwise suggest.
Michel Couvreur's story doesn't begin in Scotland but in Burgundy, where he traded wine for decades before whisky drew him in during 1978. His fresh filling method meant the sherry casks never had time to dry out between sherry and whisky, something almost nobody else still does today.

Nelson's Green Brier was founded by Charles Nelson in 1860 and grew into one of the South's largest whiskey producers, selling around 387,000 gallons a year by 1885, until Prohibition shut the distillery down in 1914. The story lay forgotten until brothers Charlie and Andy Nelson discovered a historical marker about their ancestor's distillery in 2006, while visiting the countryside outside Nashville. They reopened the distillery in November 2014, having already launched Belle Meade Bourbon in 2013 — a name drawn from the family's historic label — while waiting on permits and equipment.

The bottle honours Portmeirion, the Italian-inspired village on the North Wales coast, designed by architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis and founded in 1926 — and The Village launched in 2026 to mark the village's 100th anniversary, unveiled at a tasting held in Portmeirion itself.
The Amarone casks, Italian red wine from the Veneto region, are a deliberate nod to Portmeirion's own Italian inspiration. They lend the whisky a sweetly fruity, spiced character that layers over Penderyn's clean, light spirit from the Faraday still.
Portmeirion is perhaps best known as the filming location for the cult British TV series The Prisoner in the 1960s, and its status as one of Wales's most photographed places makes it a natural centrepiece for the Icons of Wales series.

Pusser's British Navy 15 Year is a Caribbean Rum aged 15 years in charred oak barrels and bottled at 40%.
The rum builds on the Admiralty-approved blend that was historically heavily influenced by rum from the double wooden pot stills of Port Mourant, Guyana, in operation since 1732. Pusser's Rum carries on the tradition of the daily rum ration that all British naval personnel received up until Black Tot Day in 1970, and has been dubbed "the single malt of rum" by Forbes for its craftsmanship.
The result is a rich, complex rum, where Demerara sugar and dark dried fruits meet caramelised biscuit and spice.
