Mac-Talla Terra Single Islay Malt Whisky 70 cl 46% The Mac-Talla range was created by the Morrison family, who have been making Islay whisky for 5 generations. Mac-Talla is Gaelic for echo and refers to the fact that the family's long history resonates across the island. The island Islay with its long tradition of whisky offers great experiences shaped by the elements. The three whiskies in the series are named after the island's elements - Terra (earth), Mara (sea), Strata (rock). Terra means earth. And it is the earth, in the form of peat smoke, that has made a big impact on the flavor of this delicious smoky whisky. "This perfectly reflects the peat smoke in this expression, deriving its characteristics from Islay's ground." The color is light straw yellow. On the nose we find elegant notes of citrus, smoked barley malt and fresh sea air. The taste offers clean campfire smoke, with a hint of salty sea air and a distinct smoky aftertaste. The Unique is bottled after roughly 3 years of cask maturation at natural strength via Michel Couvreur's fresh filling method, where young Scotch malt whiskies are refilled onto fresh sherry casks the same day the casks are emptied. This gives a silky character that feels more mature than the relatively few years in cask would otherwise suggest.
Michel Couvreur's story doesn't begin in Scotland but in Burgundy, where he traded wine for decades before whisky drew him in during 1978. His fresh filling method meant the sherry casks never had time to dry out between sherry and whisky, something almost nobody else still does today.

Old Perth was a blend created in 1908 as a tribute to the city. Its popularity is probably due to a large proportion of sherry-stocked whisky. The name fell into oblivion as the many producers moved out of the city, but today the famous Morrison whisky family continues to carry on the name and history. They have created a range of whiskies that are blended in Perth - from specially selected single malt whiskies. The whiskies all come from the Glenlivet region of Speyside and are aged exclusively in sherry casks.Old Perth aged 12 years' has been aged for a full 12 years. This results in a whisky with an incredibly balanced flavor. It has notes of sherry-pickled fruits and spicy orange marmalade. It has a warm, lingering finish.

Penderyn Icons of Wales No. 13 Bad Wolf 10 Years is a Single Malt Welsh Whisky fully matured in tawny port casks and bottled at 46%. The bottle marks the 10th anniversary of Bad Wolf Studios, the Cardiff-based production company behind series such as Doctor Who, Torchwood, Sherlock, Merlin and His Dark Materials, and it was released alongside Penderyn's own 25th anniversary in 2025.
The port pipes the whisky has matured in are around 60 years old and previously held port for decades, giving it a deep, full-bodied character. It's one of the more mature releases in the Icons of Wales series, where both the age and the cask choice set it apart from its younger, fresher siblings in the range.

Nose
The nose offers orange blossom and rose petal, alongside fruitcake, raisins and fig jam, with a touch of red berries.
Palate

Penderyn Icons of Wales No. 14 The Village is a Single Malt Welsh Whisky finished in Amarone casks and bottled at 46%. The bottle honours Portmeirion, the Italian-inspired village on the North Wales coast, designed by architect Sir Clough Williams-Ellis and founded in 1926 — and The Village launched in 2026 to mark the village's 100th anniversary, unveiled at a tasting held in Portmeirion itself.
The Amarone casks, Italian red wine from the Veneto region, are a deliberate nod to Portmeirion's own Italian inspiration. They lend the whisky a sweetly fruity, spiced character that layers over Penderyn's clean, light spirit from the Faraday still.
Portmeirion is perhaps best known as the filming location for the cult British TV series The Prisoner in the 1960s, and its status as one of Wales's most photographed places makes it a natural centrepiece for the Icons of Wales series.

The name Copperopolis was Swansea's nickname from around 1720, when the town accounted for roughly half of the world's copper smelting and around 90% of Britain's — and Penderyn's Swansea distillery sits inside the former Copperworks Powerhouse, right in the middle of that history.
The red wine casks add a sweet, fruity layer on top of Penderyn's clean, light spirit from the Faraday still. The result ties Welsh industrial history to modern craft — equal parts tribute to the past and proof that the distillery can still surprise you.
