Named after the man who founded both Nikka and the Japanese whisky industry itself, this pure malt is a tribute to his entire legacy.

    Expert Description

Nikka Taketsuru Pure Malt is bottled at 43%.

The whisky is named after Masataka Taketsuru, the founder of Nikka and often called "the father of Japanese whisky," after he studied the art of distillation in Scotland from 1918 to 1920. The Pure Malt series combines malt whisky from both of Nikka's distilleries, Yoichi and Miyagikyo, as a joint tribute to his life's work.
