A wonderful Scottish single malt that has been aged in ex-bourbon and ex-sherry casks as well as new American white oak casks. After aging, the whisky is allowed to come together in Glenfiddich large Solera Vatting system, where all the flavors come together and great complexity emerges. The inspiration comes from the Spanish bodegas, where lovely sherry is produced. The colour is golden with a reddish tinge. The nose is complex with notes of heather honey, vanilla, caramel and rich dark fruits. The taste is also complex with notes of sherry casks, marzipan, cinnamon and ginger.
