Rum is made from cane sugar and water. This mixture is fermented to form a liquid containing 8-10% alcohol. It is then distilled to an alcohol percentage of up to 90% and then stored on oak barrels. Once the rum has been stored, it is diluted to 40-43% alcohol and filled into bottles.

Just like the iconic 2005 release, Foursquare2011 has been aged for 12 years in ex-bourbon casks, yet brings new layers and nuances to the table.
As is tradition with Foursquare, the rum is a blend of pot still and column still distillates, creating a refined balance between depth and clarity. The ageing has taken place in a mix of first-fill and second fill ex-bourbon barrels, adding complexity and character.
