Drivkraft ("Drive" or "Momentum") is a rum that doesn't try to be complex for complexity's sake, instead focusing on warmth, sweetness and immediate charm. The palate opens with a generous sweetness that instantly recalls ripe tropical fruit - pineapple, mango and a touch of papaya sit as a juicy layer on top, before the rum's warm vanilla character unfolds. The vanilla is round and creamy, tying the experience together with a silky elegance.
The Drivkraft release is a clear example of Mezclado's philosophy: soft, full and irresistibly sweet, without losing its balance or Caribbean character. Behind the brand are Radoslaw Nowacki and the small rum blendery in Løsning near Vejle.
